Software Requirements

Essential Studio 6.3.0.6 is compatible with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2005 and 2008 (RTM). Essential Studio is also compatible with the Express versions of Visual Studio.NET.

Essential Studio controls and components can be used in any .NET environment including C#, VB.NET, and managed C++.

Configuring debugging support

The source code version of Essential Studio includes the Syncfusion Assembly Manager to ease the burden of switching between Debug and Release versions of the Studio components. Please take a look at the product users guide for more information on this topic.

Installation Notes

Toolbox installation won't work for Express editions of Visual Studio .NET. You can manually populate the toolbox by dragging the Syncfusion assemblies to toolbox or add it through "Choose Items..." option in Visual Studio.
